My name is John Lemberger. I am a pharmacist, Shrine clown and an avid Harley rider. This past June my doctor recommended that I have a Virtual Colonoscopy at Milwaukee Heart Scan. When I arrived for the procedure, I was told that I could also have a heart scan. I thought what the heck as long as I was here why not.
I had never really given much thought to heart disease. My cholesterol has always been in the normal range and I felt perfectly fine I am an active guy. I was shocked when my doctor called to say that my coronary calcium score put me in the 99 percentile and she was referring me to a Cardiologist immediately. Two week later I had a Cardiac Cauterization which showed that that I needed a four way by-pass. I am here today to give this testimony because of Milwaukee Heart
Scan
When someone suggested that I have a heart scan my first reaction was fear. I live a very full life, my children are grown and I finally have the time to do many of the things in life I had postponed. Frankly, I didn't want to know if I had heart disease because I didn't want to deal with it if I did! Knowing that fear never produces good things I had my heart scan.
Instead of having to deal with heart disease...I found out that I had
zero heart disease! I urge everyone to overcome their fear. It is always
better to know!
My name is Tracy and this is how I gave my dad the gift of life. I love my dad. Growing up, my dad was a mailman. Since he walked several miles a day delivering mail, my dad of course was always fit and trim and. I am a technician at Milwaukee Heart Scan, and I know from experience that a healthy lifestyle doesn't necessarily mean that you're not at risk for a heart attack. So last year I decided to give my father a heart scan for Father's Day. My family was shocked when my dad's scan revealed that he had advanced heart disease and needed a 5-way by pass. His doctor says the scan saved his life. Giving my dad a heart scan was the best present I ever gave him
and
myself. |
