I am what they consider in the medical field, "a save".
Thanks to a scan I had at Milwaukee Heart Scan back in April of 2003.
The scan found a 9mm nodule in my left lung, that when rescanned in July
had grown to 12 mm and was suspicious of lung cancer. Biopsy was not an
option. So I was scheduled for a surgery to remove the tumor and possibly
half of my lung. August 13th, I lost half of my lung to what now was non
small cell Aden carcinoma. The surgeons involved were astonished at how
early they were able to catch this cancer, and the oncologist was impressed
as well. The surgeon was grateful to be a part of such a success story.
He had never had the honor of participating in such an early catch. I
owe it all to your advertising and the events that led up to me getting
myself in to get the scan. Thank you very much, and I hope this information
can be used to create a success story for someone else. |
