The preparation of this procedure is simple. It includes eating lightly
the night before and the day of the scan. You will asked to arrive 30
minutes before your scheduled appointment and drink an oral contrast for
better visualization of your digestive system. The scan just takes a few
minutes and you remain fully clothed.
Again, you can be assured that the EBT scanner is 100% accurate and safe.
Your scan will be reviewed by a radiologist and then the results will
be sent to you and your doctor. If you scan results are negative that
means that no nodules were detected. If you are at high risk for cancer,
we recommend that you come back annually.
